近年來由於青少年犯罪議題逐漸受到重視，從犯罪預防的觀點而言，亟需瞭解青少年違犯之模式與相關犯罪終止因素，因此，本研究綜合分析七個有關青少年犯罪之理論模式，嘗試歸納引發青少年違犯行為的促進和抑制因素，以及將青少年生活導向犯罪終止之因素。本研究初步彙整出遠端因子、近端因子、個人心理特質、認知運作特性、保護因子，以及額外因素等六項青少年涉入違犯之研究變項，並以此為基礎，規劃兩年期研究計畫，第一年以質性訪談的研究方式，從中解析青少年違犯之趨近與終止影響因素，藉以瞭解國內青少年違犯之特性並建構相關理論模型與觀察變項；第二年則將相關研究量表翻譯成中文，檢驗其在國內的信效度，並透過累積量性資料檢證第一年研究提出之理論模式之適配度，提出有關青少年違犯行為之趨近與終止路徑模式，以利國內臨床實務工作者發展青少年違犯行為之評估與介入計畫。

Juvenile delinquency received much attention in recent years. It is necessary to understand juvenile delinquency models and desistance factors in order to come up with compatible prevention. This study examines seven theoretical models of juvenile delinquency. Researchers attempt to conclude factors that promote or inhibit juvenile delinquency behaviors from these models. In addition, researchers seek to understand desistance factors that guide juveniles’ offending to termination. Researchers preliminary consolidated distal factors, proximal factors, individual psychological traits, cognitive processes, protective factors and other factors as six major variables for this 2-year study. In first year of the study, researchers will adopt qualitative interviews to examine juvenile offenders’ approach and desistance factors. This helps researchers to understand characteristics of juvenile delinquency in Taiwan and build related theoretical models and variables. In second year of the study, researchers will translate related scales into Traditional Chinese and test their reliability and validity with local sample. The goodness of fit of theoretical models proposed in first year will be tested through quantitative study. The proposed juvenile delinquency behavior approach and desistance path model will facilitate clinical practitioners in assessment and treatment development related to juvenile delinquency in Taiwan.
