　　國內毒品的氾濫，約於民國70年後逐漸浮現。近五年來，台灣社會環境雖因經濟、社會、文化及政治上的轉型，但毒品犯罪依然嚴重，除影響社會治安外，更成為社會成本支出的無底洞。

　　本文以桃園縣為研究地區範圍，研究對象為民國91年國人在桃園縣境內之毒品犯罪案件，經警察機關破獲後移送偵辦者。其目的有：1.探討桃園縣毒品犯罪的現況，2.分析毒品犯罪者個人特性、犯罪狀況、犯罪模式，以了解毒品濫用成癮的特性，3.分析毒品犯罪再、累犯問題。

　　採用次數分配、DH分層法、獨立性檢定、關聯分析、自動互動檢視法、分類與迴歸樹狀法等方法。分析毒品犯之性別、年齡、教育程度，犯罪場所、地點、時段、原因、方法、習癖，破獲單位，毒品種類、重量、來源地區等，並探討毒品犯罪再、累犯行為，以了解犯罪本質、趨勢及習性。

　　研究結果：桃園縣毒品犯罪再、累犯較其他縣市嚴重。毒品犯罪多為男性、年輕、教育程度較低者。毒品種類以海洛因及安非他命居多，新興毒品如搖頭丸等，為青少年所喜好。在機場查獲運輸、夾帶之毒品都是大宗毒品。從毒品犯之前科及毒品再犯的時間特性，顯示毒品再犯的情況非常嚴重。本文並依據資料分析所發現的問題，提出幾項個人意見，供有關單位做參考。

● English Abstract: 

     In the 1980s of Taiwan, the drug flooding issue was become a huge problem increasingly. For the recent years in Taiwan, no matter how the transition of the economy, society, culture and polity do make a change for whole social structure, the drug crime is still a serious problem. It not only deeply jeopardizes the social order but also becomes a black hole of the expenditure of the social cost.
     In this thesis, the scope of the region is Taoyuan County and the subjects of study are who committed the drug crime in Taoyuan County in the 2002 and be handed over by the police authority. The purposes of the article are: First, to research the current situation of drug crime in Taoyuan County. Secondly, to analyze the personal characteristics of the drug criminal, crime state, crime pattern so that authority can understand the characteristics of addiction to the drug abuse. Thirdly, to analyze the drug recidivist issue.
     Statistical methods, frequency distributions, Dalenius and Hodges Minimum Variance Stratification, Chi-square test for independence, correlation analysis, Chi-square Automatic Interaction Detection（CHAID）, Classification and Regression Tree, were used to analyze the data. The data set contains the drug criminal’s gender, age, level of educational, crime area, crime location, crime time, the law enforcement authorities, the cause of crime, crime methods, crime characteristics, types, weight and resources of drug. To investigate the behavior of drug recidivists will make we to get a more clear picture of nature, tendency and characteristics of crime.
     The results shows: First, the drug recidivist issue in the Taoyuan County is more seriously than other cities or counties. Secondly, most of the drug criminals are young and strong, low education male who have highly criminal tendency on drugs. Thirdly, the types of drug mostly are heroin and amphetamine. However, ecstasy is more popular in teenagers. Fourthly, a large number of drugs are found in the airport by law enforcement authorities. Fifthly, the criminal record of drug-addict and time characteristic of drug recidivist show that drug recidivist issue is very seriously. Author sincerely hope that the law enforcement authorities that conduct the drug-investigation or engage in anti-drug job can find something useful in this study.
