　　現今針對性侵加害者之處遇計畫有多種研究，然較少針對智能障礙之處遇進行探討。智能障礙者在社會適應及行為能力上有一定的限制，其對於犯罪行為的理解及後續再犯預防上，應需要有不同於一般處遇計畫的介入方式，本文主要以Phillip 的研究脈絡，參酌國內外有關智能障礙者之處遇或治療方式進行討論，進一步提出較具成效的治療計畫及處遇方式。結果顯示，智能障礙性犯罪者的社區處遇可分為兩部分來進行討論，針對性犯罪者本身，最為常見的介入治療是以認知行為治療團體進行，且過程中宜採用討論影片、圖卡、繪圖、角色扮演等技巧，並配合其智能障礙之程度來調整內容難易，另外一方面，持續的監控及建立有效的支持系統也是有效降低再犯率的策略之一。目前為主，國內外對於智能障礙性犯罪者的治療成效研究仍寥寥無幾，使得再犯可能性難以評估或達到較佳的治療成效，後續針對智能不足者之性教育方針進行討論及研究，以期能獲得較有效的治療策略。

     There are many programs designed to treat sex offenders nowadays. However, few are tailored towards sex offenders with intellectual and developmental disabilities (IDD). Social adaptability and behavioral capacity are limited in individuals with IDD; therefore, behavioral treatment and relapse prevention programs for these individuals should be designed specifically to address their capability, rather than adopting a conventional treatment approach. In this article, our discussion is based on Phillip's research, and effective programs in local areas and abroad for the treatment of sex offenders with IDD are assessed. Furthermore, we propose a more effective treatment plan and method. The outcome showed that programs designed to treat sex offenders with IDD are mainly composed of two parts. First, for sexual offenders, the most common intervention is cognitive behavioral group therapy. Commonly-used methods are discussing video clips, using cards, painting, role play, etc. The level of difficulty is adjusted to meet the level of understanding of the patients. Second, continued monitoring and the establishment of an effective support system are also effective strategies in terms of reducing recidivism rates. To date, there are a limited number of programs designed to treat sex offenders with IDD. This makes evaluation of recidivism more difficult, and treatment may not reach optimal efficacy. We propose intervention programs designed to treat sex offenders with IDD, with the aim of identifying a more effective method.
