The purpose of the study is to probe into the conscience and interaction of the members of violent families. Also, the study is to understand their experiences in different growing stages, and the relation between family life cycles and the struggles of family abuse. The researcher interviewed four persons of the members-father, mother, son and daughter of a violence family. The study takes depth semi-structure interview and then analyzed and generalized data by the content analysis method. The findings of the study were summarized as follows: 1. According to the narration of the husband and wife, we generalized that the husband’s identification of violence can be traced back to the influence of paternity from his family. And the wife’s obedience was nurtured by the way she was raised as a child, which demanded her to sacrifice herself for the peace of the family. 2. From the consciousness and interaction of family subsystem, we concluded that “Money is the cause and alcohol is the accelerator”, “The vision for a family was turned into the faith to guard the family” and“ Children established boundaries to isolate themselves”. 3. The incidents of the family violence vary by the different stages of a family life. The conclusion is “The unpredictable storm on the early stage of a marriage”」 and “The storm subsides with the change of time”. Based on the results of the study, some suggestions have been provided as reference to the social workers or counselors when serving a violent family and for future studies.
