本研究主要目的在檢視人口特性與家庭暴力之關係，並納入家庭經濟的影響，實證時採用2005-2015年間209個縣市別的縱斷面資料建構迴歸模型，檢驗各縣市人口的自然增加、社會增加、年齡結構、婚姻狀況、教育程度、家庭經濟與家庭暴力的關係。研究結果顯示人口自然增加率、人口社會增加率、青壯年人口比率、青年失業率與家庭暴力呈現正向關係。

英文摘要:

This paper aims to explore the relationship between population characteristic and family violence, and considering the effect of family economics. We adopt 209 observations from countries during 2005 to 2015, and constructs the regression model test causal relationship between natural increase (the number of births minus the number of deaths), social increase (the population increase by migration), age structure, marital status, education degree, family economics and family violence. The results of this paper show that there are the positive relationship between natural population increase, social increase, age structure, unemployment and family violence.
