少年犯罪行為成因之模型建構研究-以結構方程模型(SEM)檢驗

有鑑於少年犯罪行為近十年來,並未因少子化而有減緩之趨勢,特別是近幾年吸食迷幻藥物問題的嚴重,顯示出對於少年犯罪行為的防治與過去的研究可能仍有不夠周延的狀況,因此本研究以明恥整合理論為基礎,收集過去台灣地區進行過的相關文獻,整理與少年犯罪行為有關的影響概念,透過結構方程模型的技術與概念,歸納出五項重要的因素:家庭功能薄弱、社區環境不良、同儕關係負向、個人特質不佳及學校適應困難,進行模型之檢定。
結構方程模型檢定結果發現:「家庭功能薄弱」與「社區環境不良」之間有高度相關,「家庭功能薄弱」與「個人特質不佳」有直接正向關係,「家庭功能薄弱」與「同儕關係負向」有直接正向關係,也就是家庭功能愈差,越可能導致個人特質不佳,越可能導致同儕關係負向,而同儕關係負向也會引發個人特質不佳。另外「同儕關係負向」及「人特質不佳」對於「學校適應困難」都有直接正向關係,且透過「學校適應困難」對「少年犯罪嚴重」有直接正向關係。
在資源有限的社會環境中,少年犯罪行為的防治也應該要對症下藥,研究結果顯示學校功能可能是少年犯罪行為防治最關鍵之因素,更多元的教育政策以適應不同的少年,對於犯罪行為的降低應有所幫助。

 

英文摘要:

 

In spite of decreasing birthrate in Taiwan, juvenile crime has not been slowing over the past decade. Serious psychedelic drug problem of teenagers shows that juvenile crime prevention and past researches may still be insufficient. Therefore, this thesis is based on Reintegrate Shaming Theory to compile the relevant influencing factors of juvenile crime by collecting past literature conducted in Taiwan. Through the techniques and concepts of structural equation modeling, there are five key factors concluded in this thesis: weak family function, poor community environment, negative peer relationships, poor personal characteristic, and bad school adaptability.
The outcome of structural equation modeling are the followings:
(1) High correlation between “weak family function” and “poor community environment”
(2) Direct positive relationship through “weak family function” to “poor personal characteristic”
(3) Direct positive relationship through “weak family function” to “negative peer relationships”
(4) Direct positive relationship through “negative peer relationships” to “bad school adaptability”
(5) Direct positive relationship through “poor personal characteristic” to “bad school adaptability”
(6) Direct positive relationship through “bad school adaptability” to “serious juvenile crime”
With limited resources of social environment, taking adequate measures for juvenile crime prevention is essential. The findings show the school function may be the most critical key factor in juvenile crime prevention. Adopting diverse education policies to different teenagers should help to reduce juvenile crimes.
